The correct Nordic Walking technique and effective Gymstick resistance training are best achieved with equipment designed specifically for Gymstick Nordic Walking.

To choose the Gymstick Nordic Walking pole that is right for you, first determine the proper pole length by multiplying your height by .68, or by referring to the chart below. 

As a rule of thumb, the elbow should be at a 90 degree angle to the surface when the pole is in a relaxed grip on the ground. For beginners, it is recommended to start with a shorter pole.


Next, choose the resistance band level appropriate for your fitness level from the chart below

The angle of the elbow should be 90 degrees when the spike/paw is placed on the ground.
